A healthy Vince Clarke addiction is a wonderful thing. Especially when it comes with such a vast amount of reverence that it leads to the creation of blistering singles like this one. There's no doubt in my mind that Nation of Language is an early Depeche Mode devotee, as that's precisely what is on offer here. This could have been lifted directly from 'Speak & Spell'. The sceptics out there might think it's a wee bit too close to the likes of 'New Life'. I disagree. There's a really positive vibe and some additional textures included that keep me entertained.
