They added a feature to Spotify a while back (or I might have only just noticed it) where artists can add a little bio to their profile. The majority of them go on meaningless, overblown rants about their inspirations and influences. I ignore those. But when someone simply puts 'If you like hearing ginger boys whining over some synths then you're going to love me' it instantly gets my attention. Honestly, Michael Aldag is selling himself a bit short with that description because 'Promenade' is three minutes of fabulous synth drenched Power Pop designed to blow your head clean off.
