Another masterclass in dark and twisted Electronica, Yodashe's 'EASTER', was conceptualised in the first lockdown during the 2020 pandemic. We were all shuttered into our personal silos, with no immediate clues as to what the future held. A feeling that this absolutely nails. As usual, the production and vocals here are mindblowing. Within six minutes, it manages to recreate the intense mental journey many of us went on throughout those initial months of not knowing. It begins optimistically before abruptly shifting the narrative to create a sense of confusion and claustrophobia that intensifies until the end of the track. Perfection.
