Karin Ann is being hailed as 'Gen-Z's new alt-pop protagonist' in certain quarters. I'm not all that sure what those words mean when they're put together, so I'll just stick with the fact that she makes amazing Pop songs like this one. 'She' is built around grinding, crunchy guitars and beats combined with an almost whispered vocal and a chorus you'll find impossible to resist. The whole package is beyond moreish, reminding me of those cool as fuck female-led Indie bands I used to love back in the Nineties. It's absolutely brilliant. You really don't want to miss this one.
