You might think that there is only so much fiddling about that you can do with the structure of a three-minute pop song. But a few sneaky production tricks can elevate something amazing into an absolute bomb. The Knocks are currently delivering hit after hit, and the arrival of the truly delicious 'Bang Bang' means they probably won't be slowing down at any point soon. There's a great vocal from Donna Missal, with some killer layering, but the real magic comes from the funky acid-filled interludes that drop after each chorus. This really needs an extended club version, like yesterday.
