All the official remixes for 'Padam...' were fucking dreadful, so I wasn't expecting anything different for 'Tension'. Thankfully, they've moved away from the identikit EDM/Car Alarm nonsense they favoured last time and instead handed the track over to Chromeo to put their spin on it, and it's a cracker. It's packed with perfect Disco moments, with some definite nods to 'Somebody Else's Guy', and I would have preferred this version as the main single release. But the record label would never have had the balls to do that in a world where dance routines on TikTok are king. Sigh.
