The 1982 version of 'She Can't Love You' by Chemise is a stone-cold classic. It's the sort of song that makes you want to run out and buy a pair of rollerskates and a Boom Box. A perfect five and a half minute example of why a lot of music coming out of the USA was great during that era. I first heard this Purple Disco Machine edit about ten years ago and loved it. Now we have a full release, and nothing has changed. This is a slick, faithful update that has all of the warmth of the original.
