I'll talk about how incredible this song is in a second (hint, it really is), but I wanted to mention that 'Wasuremono' means 'anything forgotten or left behind' in Japanese. What a cracking name for a band. Now that's out of the way, 'An Ordinary Life' is a truly fantastic slice of ramshackle power pop. It all kicks off in a simple enough fashion, with a single riff and a euphoric vocal. But the track builds in such a joyous way after that, you'll be hooked in no time. There's no point in trying to resist. Just go with it.
