The whole point of this blog was to talk about how my brain rarely allows me to listen to albums, so singles have always been my thing. There are notable exceptions, one of which is 'Flood' by They Might Be Giants. Nineteen tracks, clocking in at around forty minutes long with just enough chopping and changing to keep my attention. Also, the songs were great. I am pleased to say they've lost none of their charm over the past thirty years, and this new single is excellent. It has a slightly more mature sound, obviously, but it's still uniquely them.
