Can you remember that bit in Sesame Street where they took you inside the animated machinery of a Pinball Machine to teach you a different number every week? It had the most wicked funk track behind it, with vocals by the Pointer Sisters and the best steel drum breakdown in the history of recorded music. This fabulous new single from St. Vincent is taking me right back to that, albeit with a much darker and sleazier k-hole twist to it, which is so me it hurts. I've been a fan for years, but her new stuff is blowing my mind.
