Sam Sparro has got a great voice. It's distinct and packed full of soul, and he knows how to write an excellent pop song. On top of that, he also has a cracking moustache. So I've never really understood why he hasn't had more mainstream success over the years. The already brilliant 'The PPL' was released about a year ago but now has some sparkling 90s house style remixes from Initial Talk that have elevated it to new heights. Think of those superlative remixed versions of 'Motownphilly' and 'Two Can Play That Game', and you're headed in the right direction.
