Blimey! I wasn't expecting this in the slightest. But I am more accustomed to Peggy Gou smashing out upbeat club tracks rather than straight-up songs. Don't get me wrong, it's excellent. This could have easily come straight out of 1989, officially the best pop music year ever (fight me). Imagine if Stock, Aitken, and Waterman were hanging out with Loose Ends, and they decided to write a chilled out, downtempo album track for Betty Boo. But in Korean, obviously. That's exactly what you've got here. It's simultaneously happy and sad, and I love it with every fibre of my being.
