Lianne La Havas continues to release quality material that puts her head and shoulders above many of the other acts out there. 'Weird Fishes' is a Radiohead cover, a live favourite, and the lead on a four-track EP of the same name. Her studio take kicks off in her signature style of heady, atmospheric, soul, before stripping back to nothing but vocal. It then twists itself into something monstrous and unexpected, sweeping you completely off your feet. It's a head rush and her vocal style shines here. The whole package is top quality, but this opener is really the standout.
