Laura Mvula - Safe Passage

I fell in love with Laura Mvula in 2013. Her voice is glorious, but the incredible songwriting was the thing that reeled me in. I still get shivers down my spine whenever I hear 'She'. But record companies can be total dicks, and she was unceremoniously dropped despite releasing two Mercury Prize nominated albums. Thankfully, she's back, and I am happy in my heart once more. 80s inspired single 'Safe Passage' is just fantastic. The vocals are raw, powerful, and packed with soul, and her trademark harmonies are absolutely divine. Also, the shoulder pads in the video are beyond killer.
