Laura Mvula - Got Me

First things first, 'Got Me' is a great pop song with that unique Laura Mvula twist and more of her new 80s inspired direction. It's definitely making me wiggle about in my chair, so that's all well and good. But it has the same problem as the most recent Coldplay single. It's a bit too close to something else. In this case, it's the creepily titled 'Get Outta My Dreams (Get Into My Car)' by Billy Ocean. Even down to the trumpet stabs in the chorus. I am expecting a mash-up of the two to appear on YouTube within hours.
