Where do you even start trying to cover something like this classic 20-year-old St Germain track? You put it in the capable hands of the massively underrated Jorja Smith, apparently. Retaining all of the smoothness from the original, including the original Marlena Shaw elements, Smith has added a whole new layer to it that will make you want to fuck its brains out. It's 'French Kiss'. It's 'Je T'Aime'. It's just damn sexy. This will be part of an upcoming Blue Note 'reimagined' project at some point in the near future, but don't wait for that. You need this now.
