Back in the 90s, while everyone else was busy themselves fawning over The Manics (who I still don't get as a band. Well, not post-Richie, anyway), I was sat in my bedroom, spending quality time with the Super Furry Animals. Besides the fact that they had better and vastly more intelligent songs, Gruff Rhys was just an exciting and charismatic frontman. His new single, 'Loan Your Loneliness,' has arrived ahead of an album later this year and is basically a tweaked out, lo-fi version of 'You're My Best Friend' by Queen that I am 100% here for. Get into it.
