I've missed CHVRCHES, but the last few of their singles have not hit the mark for me. But this stellar collaboration with Robert Smith, 'How Not to Drown', is more than a little bit special. It's got the perfect mix of nostalgia and right now. What makes this so good is that neither of the artists is compromising anything of themselves. Even with the additional touches of electronica by Scotland's finest, this could be a brand new Cure single. I can't be the only person out there hoping there's a version knocking about with him performing the whole vocal, surely?
