It's been a long wait for new Young Fathers material, but, fucking hell, have they ever come back with a bang. To these ears, 'I Saw' is probably the best single they've ever released. It's an unstoppable juggernaut of a track that explodes out of your speakers, grabbing you by the throat and demanding that you pay attention until the very last second. There's an element of controlled chaos here, driven by powerful percussion and snarled vocals, which is 100% their brand. The band themselves have said its "a psychological hammer to the head", which is right on the money.
