Villagers never fail to surprise me, which is a good thing. I can remember the first time I heard the aggressive and malevolent 'Occupy Your Mind'. It blew me away. Divine new single, 'So Simpatico', is at the opposite end of the spectrum but is equally perfect. There's an edit that is fine and dandy, but you should totally head for the glorious seven-minute version, which is so angelic that it sounds like it's been beamed to Earth from behind the Pearly Gates themselves. It's the aural equivalent of falling backwards into a bottomless swimming pool full of giant marshmallows.
