Bloody hell, this is great. The Orielles have a pretty much perfect track record, as have Confidence Man. What you've got here is prime late 80s/early 90s acid house. Proper hitch up your dungarees and get into it party music. But it's all done with such a light and precise touch that you are helpless to resist when that first acid line kicks in. Every box is ticked here, but at no point do you feel that it's forced. Built for lockdown, it's perfect for dancing around your bedroom with a bottle of poppers. Check out the instrumental, too.
