There is authentic pleasure in discovering a flawless nugget of music that can throw your emotions around in every direction. Cue The Lemon Twigs with 'Any Time Of Day'. Paying homage to the mid-Seventies MOR/Easy Listening isn't usually how you get my attention, but I am obsessed. It's got it all. Perfectly pitched harmonies, stellar songwriting, and an almost wonky feel that takes a heartbeat to get used to but is essential to the track. Wonderful.
