The Coral were never really a band that offered me anything I wanted back when they first appeared. Though that was more down to me than them. Whimsical Merseybeat guitar ditties aren't the order of the day when you are out clubbing four nights a week. I am a different person from the one I was then, so I gave their new single 'Lover Undiscovered' a listen. Turns out that it's a fantastic song with a sunshine-filled chorus that gets better with every play. I'm glad I've grown up a little. Otherwise, I would miss out on gems like this.
