I can still remember how I discovered the Chemical Brothers. I worked in a tiny record shop in Bristol, and the local EMI rep handed me a 12" promo with the Junior Boys Own branding on the sleeve. Knowing the label already, I slammed it on the in-store Technics, and as soon as the siren at the start of 'Leave Home' kicked in, it was love at first listen. Almost thirty years later, 'Skipping Like A Stone' has arrived, with vocals from Beck, and it's predictably fantastic. No one makes music the way they do, and long may they continue.
