The Charlatans - C'mon C'mon (Desk Mix)

There's an extensive new Charlatans vinyl box set of classic tracks and previously unreleased material on the way. To kick things off, they've released a demo version of a track called 'C'mon C'mon' that didn't quite make it onto 2001's 'Wonderland' album. It's an unmastered mix, so Tim Burgess sounds like he's singing from the bottom of a well with the band are somewhere about a mile away from him. But ignoring that minor distraction, it's a fucking great song. One of their more uptempo numbers, which were always my favourites anyway, this would have definitely made a cracking single.
