The House Music love-in with the 1990s continues. In the case of 'Serotonin Moonbeams', this feels like a combination of 'Tom's Diner' and Frankie Knuckles' seminal 'The Whistle Song', but with the pitch cranked up to eleven. It's breezy enough, and I'm sure it would blow the roof off the right dancefloor. I've just heard so many tracks like this before. It's not all negative, though. When it gets bass-heavy at around the halfway mark, it reminds me of a lighter version of those incredible Armand Van Helden remixes from back then, which is worth the price of admission alone.
