I recently caught up with an old clubbing buddy who relocated to Germany a few years back. He informed me that an update of the kind of European Acid Techno and Trance we spent hours dancing to in Turnmills thirty years ago has reemerged in the clubs. So it makes sense that Berlin-based Terr is one of the champions of this 'new' sound. Both tracks here fit that brief and are giving me flashbacks to those days (there's even a nod to the seminal R&S tune 'Vamp' by Outlander on 'Layers') but still sound as fresh as a daisy.
