If you've been to a cinema in the last fifty years, there's a good chance you already know the Buffalo Springfield version of this song. It's two and a half minutes of perfect and instantly recognisable within the first couple of seconds, which is probably why I am struggling here. It doesn't elevate the original in any way. It actually does the opposite, making it sound darker and heavier. Which is an odd artistic choice. Also, she has doubled the runtime. Which is unforgivable. But I guess, if you're Stevie Nicks, you can do whatever the fuck you want, right?
