I was slightly alarmed when I first saw that posthumous music was due from SOPHIE. Her legacy is unquestionable, and the thought of it being tainted in any way was something that didn't bear thinking about. So I went into 'Reason Why', a new collaboration with Kim Petras and BC Kingdom, with more than a little trepidation. Thankfully, it's fantastic. The build here is amazing, with the whole thing coming across like the breakdown from your favourite '90s dance track on an eternal loop. Here's hoping everything else on the way can live up to the art that came before.
