If you are unaware of Sofia Kourtesis, you're really missing out. She's an insanely talented producer based in Berlin, by way of Peru, who has been putting out immaculate and inventive House EPs for a few years now for labels such as Ninja Tune. Her first release of 2022 is this complete bomb of a track built around Manu Chao's 'Me Gustas Tu'. With layers of percussion and countless samples (there's even some birdsong in there), it's so wonderfully calming and probably the most uplifting thing I have heard in ages. This is music designed to make you feel good.
