It's been seven years since we were last gifted with any music by Sigur Rós (although I listen to their stuff so often, it doesn't feel like they've ever been away). They are finally back with a new track featuring former member Kjartan Sveinsson for the first time in over a decade, and it's everything you want it to be. 'Blóðberg' is the band at its best. It's a mournful, orchestral piece about how the human race is walking headfirst into our destruction thanks to our own stupidity. But there is such beauty here; I am almost struggling to care.
