Shamir - I Wonder

This is an unexpected treat. I had sort of given up on Shamir, but I love this. He has always had that potent vocal style but, aside from that astonishing first album, there hasn't been the material to properly back it up for me. But this single is a comeback on a grand scale. 'Grand' is definitely the right word to use because this is a Torch song with a capital 'T'. Building and swooping in all the right places with Shamir's falsetto in control high above the beautiful noise below. It'll take a few listens, but it's cracking stuff.
