The first new Carl Cox track in ten years was released last week. It's a collaboration with Nicole Moudaber, and it's great. Proper heads-down techno malarkey designed to be enjoyed in a small club with a low ceiling and too many strobe lights. However, he's also delivered this cracking remix of 'Maria' from Riva Starr, and I am obsessed. It's far more full-tilt Sundays on the Terrace at Space in Ibiza. All hi-hats, basslines and buckets of sunshine, but tough as old boots at the same time. I loved this sound back then, and I still do now. Complete perfection.
