It's easy to head into a recording studio, throw everything at a track, and come out with an overpolished, soulless mess. Avoiding that temptation and showcasing your talent simply through songwriting ability, restrained instrumentation, and a great voice is something that not many artists have mastered. Someone who has is Richard Walters. 'Move On' is a truly beautiful song. Written as an apology to his wife for the heated moments he's caused over the years, you can hear his heart breaking with every line he delivers. Honest, raw, and I'm not ashamed to admit it's had me weeping all week.
