Rialto - No One Leaves This Discotheque Alive

Anyone who's been within ten miles of a feather boa knows that the first rule of 'Camp' is that there can be no half-measures. I can see what Rialto have tried to do here. They've thrown everything at it, from the title to the lyrics and their delivery, a smart use of Moroder-esque synths, and even some 1970s Eurovision-style hooks and singalong key changes. All the elements are present and correct, but it's all far too laid back to hit the mark. It's still a great single, but if they had really let go, it could have been utterly fabulous!
