Róisín Murphy - The Universe

It doesn't take a genius to realise that Róisín Murphy's collaboration with Germany's DJ Koze on her new album was going to end well. Her incredible body of work speaks for itself, and ever since I first heard his remix of Låpsley's 'Operator', I've pounced on anything that Koze has touched. 'The Universe' follows 'CooCool', showcasing a more playful side to her sound, and I am 100% here for it. The production has a lightness that almost feels like a nursery rhyme in places, making your insides wobble in the best way. To be completely honest, doesn't she always, though?
