Priya Ragu - Lockdown

I have been on the verge of putting together a few words regarding the excellent Priya Ragu for a while now. Her 'Chicken Lemon Rice' from earlier in 2021 is a total tune. She's back with a mixtape and a killer new track, 'Lockdown', which just might be one of the best songs of the year. Absolutely everything about this is on point. Insanely good beats with intricate detail over the top combined with Tamil and pop style vocals. It comes across to these old ears like a cross between MIA and Betty Boo. Which basically means it's 100% perfect.
