This new PNAU song shouldn't work. It's beige to a fault and feels like an updated version of Hot Chocolate's 'So You Win Again' (a tune I've always hated. Sue me). It's so middle of the road it's probably up for giving the council a hand painting the white lines. I can imagine someone from Neighbours in the early nineties, not one of the good characters, banging it out as a single. But, even with all that, I cannot stop returning to it. No idea why. Sometimes Pop Music doesn't make sense, and you've just got to go with it.
