Continuing their epic run of singles, Manchester's Picture Parlour are back, and they are demanding your attention. 'Face In The Picture' is a behemoth of a growling guitar number that slaps you around the chops and keeps you locked in until the last note. It's all about the drama here, and I live for it. To these ears, their sound is pure Patti Smith combined with the grandeur of T-Rex or Nick Cave. It's an irresistible and addictive combination.
