Continuing their epic run of singles, Manchester's Picture Parlour are back, and they are demanding your attention. 'Face In The Picture' is a behemoth of a growling guitar number that slaps you around the chops and keeps you locked in until the last note. It's all about the drama here, and I live for it. To these ears, their sound is pure Patti Smith combined with the grandeur of T-Rex or Nick Cave. It's an irresistible and addictive combination. Let's hope they can maintain the momentum their music has delivered so far because great things will follow if they can.
