I'll be honest, Peakes aren't a band I've noticed before. But within twenty seconds of this powerhouse of a track kicking off, I had already decided that no other group mattered to me in the history of the world as much as they did. I love it when that happens. 'Day And Age' is a perfect combination of a great tune, with fantastic vocals, powerful beats, and just the right amount of 80s influence chucked in for good measure. The result is an infectious and compelling pop song that you'll want to stick on repeat for hours on end. Smashing.
