Released at the tail end of last year on the seminal Techno label R&S, Paul Roux's 'Bapteme' is one of those rare flawless tracks that I need to make sure I find the right words to express just how spectacular it is. An exquisitely crafted slice of cinematic breaks that aches from start to finish, the levels of emotion in this tune are off the charts. Imagine if Pink Floyd were recording Dark Side Of The Moon now. This is precisely the sort of track that would be on it. This is a genuinely breathtaking piece of music. Absolutely essential.
