It's a given that when two uniquely powerful female voices like that of Nao and Lianne La Havas get together, there will be fireworks. But I am genuinely blown away here because 'Woman' is a thrilling single. As smooth and laidback as the track as a whole is, the message of female empowerment comes across loud and clear (rightly so). "If God is a Woman, on Sunday imma worship Us / Take my mirror out the bag and fill it with confidence". That's pure gold, right there. Both of these women are at the top of their game, and it shows.
