Honestly, I'm running out of superlatives to use about Mörmaid. Fresh from releasing two of my favourite recent tracks, 'Manicfest' and 'I'm Trying,' she's back with the storming 'Wet Summer' (pun unintended, but welcomed). This time, we've got an uplifting slice of drum and bass about the internal struggle artists can feel reconciling their art with the pressures of the music industry. As expected, the flawless production delivers a punchy yet beautifully atmospheric track. But I also need to call out the vocals, which are killer. Floating over the verses before kicking in hard for the chorus. Absolutely love this.
