Midland has been dishing out perfectly crafted nuggets of sound for what seems like forever. So something in my brain is struggling with the fact that 'Fragments Of Us' is his first full-length album. I could have picked anything from it to write about (and still might), but the title track is my current favourite. As usual, the production is phenomenal, completely stripped back yet giving a deep and sumptuous feel, resulting in one of the most beautiful numbers I've heard this year. Do yourself a favour and head to Bandcamp to grab a copy today. You won't regret it.
