I'll be the first to admit that I have been guilty of pre-judging an artist's solo output based on the band they used to be in. Such is the case with this new Marcus Mumford single. I'm not saying it will revolutionise music as we know it. The apple hasn't fallen that far from the tree. But it's really not bad. Gentle where it needs to be, but it still packs a punch when needed. But Mumford & Sons can still get in the fucking bin. All that banjo nonsense is an affront to the very delicacy of my nature.
