My favourite Marc Almond songs are the ones where he just lets everything fly like he doesn't have a care in the world. Think 'Jacky' or 'The Days Of Pearly Spencer'. They have a sense of glamour and melodrama that almost no other artist can match. Cue this excellent new single, which is as close to an original Bond theme as he's ever likely to get. It's packed with crashing guitars and more strings than I'm sure it's legal to have in one song, all delivered at breakneck speed, and you can't help but get swept away with it all.
