Thanks to a killer run of singles, Low Girl were one of my favourite new acts of 2022. I've fallen head over heels in love with their sound. They've just released their first EP of the year, and it's great. Five tracks, led by the excellent 'Uh-Oh' (which I ran out of time to write my words about before Christmas, unfortunately), it also features this number, 'Bored'. It's a cracker of a song that's taking me back to the better female-led Britpop bands from the nineties, but with some Phoebe Bridgers thrown in. They are definitely a band to watch.
