Lol Hammond & Duncan Forbes - Snow Ghosts

This is a gorgeously constructed single. It's got a definite late 80s/early 90s indie throwback quality to it. Delicate and otherworldly, albeit with a drum machine and an almost Spectoresque wall of sound throughout. With every new listen, I can hear more layers to it. It's the sort of thing you can get lost in for days. The Slowdive loving, Parka wearing, Seventeen-year-old version of me, tucked away in the back of my brain, sincerely hopes that this song signifies the beginning of a shoegazing revival. One where Cybotron produces all of the tracks from beyond the grave, of course.
