In all honesty, I had sort of forgotten about José González. He 'bounced' into our collective consciousness when Sony used his wistful cover of The Knife's 'Heartbeats' in one of their TV adverts. He's been putting out the odd album since then but has never reached the same heights again. I'd love this remix 'Swing' to put him back in people's minds because it's fantastic. Roosevelt are so good at this kind of thing. Always perfectly formed pop remixes, guaranteed to give you a warm feeling in your belly with every play. The original is definitely worth a listen, too.
