Joe Turner - Crystal Clear

Back in 2019, this fella released a cracking song that I loved called 'Retina'. It was all floaty light techno with some serious percussive elements which gave the whole thing an almost otherworldly quality. This year's new offering 'Crystal Clear' is more of a dancefloor track, but only if the club you were listening to it in was wrapped in bubble wrap and a massive duvet. It's so lovingly constructed with layers of warm sounds running throughout that you feel like you're sinking into it in places. This is intelligent dance music at its finest and I think it's gorgeous.
